Ramada Plaza Noumea – Luxury, Space & Tradition.
Opened in November 2005 and ideally located on Anse Vata Bay in close proximity to Anse Vata Beach with its many cafes and restaurants and only a short distance from the city and shopping centre and main tourist attractions, Ramada Plaza Noumea is a four star hotel and is affiliated to the Ramada Worldwide hotel chain.
The hotel offers 188 spacious and elegantly designed rooms and suites, all with a mix of traditional and modern decor. All rooms provide air-conditioning, LCD TV with satellite channels, internet access, in room safe, tea/coffee facilities, mini bar on request, fridge, ironing facilities and hairdryer.
With the exception of the superior room category, all other rooms and suites provide kitchen facilities (microwave, coffee machine, electric jug, hot plates, cookware, cutlery and crockery) and our deluxe and executive suites provide in room laundry facilities.
Ramada Plaza Noumea offers a choice of two restaurants : Le 360, Noumea’s only revolving panoramic restaurant located on the 19th floor with stunning views over the lagoon and the city of Noumea, and L’Oasis, our casual dining restaurant located poolside amongst the tropical gardens.
Our Rendez-Vous Bar is a great place to unwind after a day’s business or sightseeing and Happy Hour takes place there every evening from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with musical entertainment several times per week.
Ramada Plaza Noumea also has a Spa & Energy Centre located in the hotel and providing a tempting range of massages and beauty treatments.
The Fitness Centre is open 24 hours a day and can be accessed by your room key and the hotel organises aquarobics classes every week day in the pool.
The Tour Desk is located alongside reception and is able to organise transfers as well as a number of day or half day excursions to discover the many attractions of Noumea and of course the Northern Province, Loyalty Islands and the famous Isle of Pines. Our boutique has a wide range of souvenirs and gifts for all budgets and is located in the lobby. The Kids Club located at Ramada Plaza Noumea is available on request for activities and babysitting for children aged between 2-10 years old.
Business Facilities
Ramada Plaza Noumea has three modular conference rooms overlooking the gardens and pool in addition to a large pre-function area which opens out on to the deck and pool area. This flexible layout is ideal for conferences, seminars, expos, product launches, sit down dinners, cocktails and theme evenings. In addition we have several private suites available for smaller meetings and break out sessions which have private facilities and large terrace for coffee breaks.
Room hire includes audio-visual equipment (data projector, screen, DVD, VCR and flat screen TV), water, pen/paper, flip chart or white board, dedicated phone line and internet access.
Our business centre is located alongside our conference rooms and internet access is also available in our rooms (wired and wireless).
Photocopying and fax service can be requested at reception. For delegates arriving from outside the hotel, Ramada Plaza Noumea has three floors of undercover and secure parking which is free of charge. Return airport transfers can be arranged through our reservation team or with our tour desk.

Early check in or late check out is charged at 50% of the nightly rate. Baggage can be left in our baggage room until check in time of 3:00pm or after check out at 11:00am.

Getting There
Ramada Plaza Noumea is located 50kms (around 50 minutes drive) from Tontouta International Airport. Airport transfers can be arranged through the hotel, alternatively coaches meet each flight. Cost for a one way transfer is approx 25 Euros.
Taxis are also available from the airport at a cost of approx 75 Euros one way. If you are arriving by rental car you will need XPF150 (1.26 Euros) for the toll gate located between the airport and the hotel.
Parking
Ramada Plaza Noumea has three floors or undercover secure parking located in the hotel with direct acess by lift to the reception area or to the rooms. Parking is complimentary.
Things To Do
Ramada Plaza Noumea is located 200 metres from the Anse Vata beachfront with its many cafes, restaurants and boutiques, and 20 minutes walking distance from the adjoining bay called Baie des Citrons, which also has many cafes, restaurants and nightclubs. The Henry Millard Horse Racecourse is located opposite the hotel where there is also a golf driving range.
Hop on Hop Off explorer buses either leave from the hotel or from the Anse Vata Bay and stop off at all the major attractions on the hour every hour – tickets available on the bus or from reception. The Little Tourist Train calls in at the hotel and offers a 1 1/2 hour city tour with commentary in English – a great way to get the feel of the city. Located along Anse Vata is the water sports activity hut where you can catch a taxi boat to Duck Island for a half day of snorkelling and relaxing.
Other main attractions in Noumea include the Noumea Museum, Maritime Museum, New Caledonia Museum, Aquarium and Botanical Gardens where there are numerous native flora and fauna. On the explorer bus you can also visit the magnificent Tjibaou Cultural Centre, unique in the world and featuring the Melanesian and South Pacific cultures.
Noumea has an 18 hole international golf course located 15 minutes from the hotel alongside the domestic airport of Magenta which connects Noumea to the Isle of Pines and Loyalty Islands. Shopping in the shopping centres or city centre offers French label goods, shoes, jewellery, souvenirs, homeware, cookware and lots of delicious French specialties (wines, pates, cheeses etc).
Noumea boasts two Casinos and plenty of night life and entertainment as well as over 130 restaurants offering a variety of different cuisine (French, seafood, Italien, Vietnamese, Chinese).
Noumea offers the best of both worlds – the beach and water activities combined with the sophistication of a small French city.
